Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich (DE)
01.01. - 30.09.2013
In the spring and summer of 2013, the four museum collections at the Pinakothek der Moderne used the closure of their building for renovation as a chance for an experiment: they set up a temporary pavilion – the ‘Schaustelle’ or ‘show site’ – where a rapidly changing program of exhibitions, performances, concerts and workshops took place. Having recently moved to Munich, I had the great opportunity of being part of the coordination team of this amazing project.
As a coordinator I organised eight exhibition projects (Encore Heureux + G Studio. Mobil. Temporär. Provisorisch, Tagging, Tim Wolf. Warten und Kein Ende..., Kathrin Sonntag. Abwesen, Van Bo Le-Mentzel. Unreal Estate House, Schauing, Automanic. Folke Köbberling / Martin Kaltwasser / David Moises and Bye-Bye Schaustelle!), and the events that took place during the exhibitions and were related to them. Moreover I coordinated the video and photography documentation for the whole project Schaustelle, managed the website, contributed to press & communication activities and provided administrative support, processing invoices, managing the internal calendar and scheduling meetings.
